American Association of Woodturner's "Women in Turning" is encouraging WIT groups to join in a national project to turn wig stands, at no expense for the recipients. Our goal is to give back to our communities in this worthwhile effort, especially since cancer has likely impacted each of us, our family, and/or our friends.

Nor-Cal Woodturners will be making wig stands and distributing them through the local cancer society.  Completed wig stands can be brought to any of our club meetings, or contact Noele DeSafey at noele@noeledodson.com if you have any questions.
