Brad Adams Demonstration

Brad Adams is a local woodturner with a world of knowledge.  He will be coming over from the Bay Area Woodturners to give us a great full day demo.

My demo is designed to help beginning and intermediate turners achieve a professional looking form and finish while significantly reducing sanding time.     It presents tips and techniques not typically covered in other demos.  Things like:

• Fine tuning the form with tricks to find bumps and flat spots.
• Grinding and using a negative rake scraper, a convex bowl gouge, and a cabinet scraper.
• Finishing cuts that minimize the amount of sanding needed.
• Proper sanding tools and techniques.
• Finish choices and finishing methods.
  

The cost for Nor-Cal members is only $ 25 and for guests $ 30.
