The Woodworking Show is coming back to Sacramento and Nor-Cal needs volunteers to man the Club booth. This is a great event where we show the public what woodturning is all about. We'll be making bowls for the Empty Bowls fundraiser as well as making tops for the kids. Even if you don't want to turn, come and talk with the public about why you love woodturning.
You can volunteer for First or Second shift on Friday, Saturday or Sunday. The first shift on Friday sets up and the last shift on Sunday takes down the booth. You can also volunteer to move equipment from Palmiter School to CAL EXPO and back.
Volunteers get a free ticket into the event, but you will probably need to pay for parking.
