Holiday Party and Gift Exchange

It's time again for our Holiday Party and Gift Exchange.  This year there are three ways you (and your spouse) can participate:

1) Gift Exchange- turn something that takes about one day to make.  It doesn't need to be anything too fancy, but something you'd be happy to share with another member.  Put it in a paper bag and bring it to the meeting.  The club will supply a gift bag to put it in.  We'll exchange gifts between those who bring things.  You can bring a gift for your spouse to exchange if you want to make two turnings.

2) Top Spinning Contest- Make a wooden top and see how long you can make it spin.  The longest spinning top (by hand) will win the prize.  We will also have a prize for the best looking top so get to turning.

3) Talk and Eat- Enjoy some pie, ice cream and coffee as you get to know your fellow turners and their spouses.
