The second of a continuing series of hands-on workshops sponsored by the Youth Training Committee that are held before the general meeting.
We will all turn a "Tea Light" using the Youth Turning project procedure. See "Youth Training Notes" in the "Members Only" area.
We will order pizza to enjoy during a show and tell on our projects. (A donation of $5.00 will defray the cost of the Pizza)
This is a fine opportunity for members who are relatively new to turning to build some solid skills and complete a fun project. Also for coaches to get familiar with the new tool box setup and build skills in coaching this project.
The workshop will be held in the Palmiter School Woodturning Classroom - Building G - first building on the right when you enter the parking lot. A coach and a turner will pair up at a lathe. Tools and project materials will be supplied.
