Dave Peters will lead a hands-on class teaching use of the skew to turn playful and decorative spin tops. The class will give us an understanding of the value of the skew and acquaint us with techniques for decoration and design. We will also have an arena to have a competitive "spin off."
Dave will bring some of his tops and teach how they came out of a blank. You will be provided your own lathe and all needed tools and maple blanks.
