Holiday Party and Gift Exchange

It's time again for our Holiday Party and Gift Exchange.  This year there are four ways you (and your spouse) can participate:

1) Gift Exchange- turn something that takes about one day to make.  It doesn't need to be anything too fancy, but something you'd be happy to share with another member.  Put it in a paper bag and bring it to the meeting.  The club will supply a gift bag to put it in.  We'll exchange gifts between those who bring things.  You can bring a gift for your spouse to exchange if you want to make two turnings.

2) Empty Bowls Fundraiser- Bring a bowl to donate to the River City Food Bank's "Empty Bowls" fundraiser.  This annual fundraiser helps support their programs that feed children, seniors, the disabled, the working poor and homeless.  

3) Talk and Eat- Enjoy some pie, ice cream and coffee as you get to know your fellow turners and their spouses.

4) $ 50 Drawing- We'll have 4 door prize drawings.  Everyone who attends will get a chance to win a $ 50 Woodcraft gift certificate!!
