Don Brice has is going to be available for you both Saturday and Sunday September 12th and 13th to pickup wood that has been harvested by our committee.
There will be two distinct groups from which you can make your selections. The first group contains pieces of oak, mulberry, black walnut and maple in a variety of sizes that have been sectioned, sealed and stored in the shade. The second group contains a wide assortment of turn ready pieces including, but not limited to, pear blocks, pear and cherry bowl blanks, walnut bowl blanks, black oak cylinders, black acacia blanks, big leaf maple pieces, elm blanks and honey locus blanks.
There may be road delays on the Garden Hwy. on 9/12 due to levee renovation work. In the past the delays have been for 5 to 10 minutes but...
If you can't make it on either 9/12 or 9/13 and you would like to participate, email Don Brice after 9/13 to learn what is still available. If desired, an appointment would be scheduled.
Dates: 9/12 and 9/13
Time: 10:00 AM to noon.
Location: 3831 Garden Hwy., Sacramento, CA 95834, the driveway is directly opposite the black mailbox which has 3831 on it.
Donations: Because this is a club fund raiser are expected.
Masks and the practice of social distancing are required.
