Nor-Cal Woodturners has received approval to conduct member workshops at Palmiter School woodturning shop. These workshops are an opportunity to acquaint members with the school facilities and provide continuing education in basic woodturning skills for the members. Hopefully, after training, members will consider volunteering as coaches in the youth training program we have successfully conducted at the school for 11 years.
The projects will start with easy spindle turnings and progress to more complex ones. There are 8 fully equipped work stations and all supplies will be provided.
Besides Nor-Cal member/learners, we will need volunteer instructors and helpers. Please contact Ted Young at 916-574-9117 if you can help.
