Each month on the 4th Tuesday at 6:30 pm we have a monthly meeting (except November and December). We have a demonstration on woodturning and "show and tell" where members share what they have been working on. There is also plenty of good company.
This month we will have three short demos from our club members. Ernie Buda will show us how he creates his segmented "knuckle bone optical illusion", Mark Mapes will demonstrate adding a woven pattern of nylon cord to a bowl, and Barry Stephens will bring in his custom designed bandsaw jig and show you everything you need to know to create your own stunning wave bowls at home.
The President's Challenge for March is: turn an egg. Join in the fun and bring something to show. Maybe you'll win a prize! Barry Stephens shared this to get you in the spirit:
No need to sign up, just come to the Veterans Hall. Bring something you've turned to share with the group. You can also bring items to donate to the Raffle if you have something in your shop you don't need anymore. Hope to see you there!
