Each month on the 4th Tuesday at 6:30 pm we have a monthly meeting (except November and December). We have a demonstration on woodturning and "show and tell" where members share what they have been working on. There is also plenty of good company.
Mike Mahoney will be doing an in-person demo for us. Mike is always entertaining and educational.
No need to sign up, just come to the Veterans Hall. Bring something you've turned to share with the group. You can also bring items to donate to the Raffle if you have something in your shop you don't need anymore.
Our President's Challenge will be to turn something using the skew only, or for at least 90% of the turning. NOTE: President's challenge items must be turned specifically for this challenge. You can bring things you've done in the past to show but they aren't part of the challenge.
President's Challenge Update: Our VP, Noele DeSafey, has asked our members to participate in the St Jude Children's Hospital fundraiser by turning an ornament and donating it. Please bring an ornament to the meeting. Noel will collect them and send them to Turners Warehouse where they will be auctioned off and the proceeds going to the Hospital. Click here to learn more.
